Aim: How does a bill become a law?

Bell Ringer: Review yesterday’s exit ticket and video assigned for HW.

Objectives:

1. Students will analyze the structures, functions, and processes of the legislative branch as described in Article I of the Constitution.

3. How a Bill Becomes a Law PPT (15 min)
4. Draw your own diagram explaining how a bill becomes a law. (rest of class)

Home Learning:

A. Complete your "How a Bill Becomes a Law" drawing.

B. Study for Wednesday's test:

1. Review Journals, starting from Journal 14
2. Review all YouTube videos on the blog, from the date: 10/17/2017
3. Review Powers of Congress worksheet and Congressional Leadership Notes. 4. Bring a #2 pencil to class tomorrow.
